Romantic Card – step by step – only 2 papers
Hello!
In a world filled with digital communication, there’s something special about receiving a handwritten note, especially when it comes in the form of a beautifully crafted handmade card. Today, I’m creating a romantic card that captures the essence of love and nostalgia, combining the charm of vintage aesthetics with the warmth of handmade craftsmanship.

Materials Needed:
- Two Patterned Papers (Mint and Beige)
- Die-Cutting Machine
- Handmade Paper Flowers
- Piece of Lace
- Twine
- Adhesive
- Scissors
I started by selecting two complementary patterned papers – one in mint and the other in beige. These papers will serve as the canvas for my romantic creation. I die cut all elements – background pattern, hearts, flowers and leaves from these papers. Hearts of different sizes and shades (mint and beige). Then I arranged the die-cut hearts in the centre of the card. The variety in size and colour adds depth and dimension, making the card more captivating. On the side of each heart, I added one handmade paper flower with a few leaves and a twine bow. To infuse a vintage touch, I placed a piece of lace underneath the entire composition.

Crafting a romantic card using only two patterned papers may seem simple, but the possibilities are endless when creativity is set free. By incorporating handmade elements such as paper flowers, lace, and twine I embraced the vintage style.
Happy crafting!
