DIY Mother’s Day Teacup Magnet – Handmade with Love

- Letter beads to spell ‘MUM’
- Glue, twine, and small embellishments
- Magnets (I used three for extra hold)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Paint the Teacup Base
I started by painting the wooden teacup shape with soft pastel acrylic paints to give it a delicate, feminine touch. Let it dry completely before moving on to the next step.
2. Add Clear Embossing for Texture
To enhance the surface, I applied a layer of clear embossing powder and heat set it. This added a subtle glossy finish and a beautiful depth to the piece.
3. Create the Composition
Using cutouts from the House of Roses collection, I arranged a small decorative composition featuring a vintage clock, a rustic birdhouse, and floral accents. These elements were carefully layered for a dimensional effect.
4. Add the ‘MUM’ Letter Beads
To personalize the design, I made ‘MUM’ using small letter beads, attaching them securely with glue and adding twine for a charming handmade touch.
5. Attach the Magnets
