Christmas Cards with Train Die Set
Christmas crafting is officially in full swing in my studio, and today I’m so excited to share two new cards I created using the Spellbinders & Stamperia collaboration cutting die set — a charming little train that has completely stolen my heart.
Card 1 – Rustic Greens & Wood Tones (“Christmas Wishes”)
For my first card, I leaned into a warm, rustic look with deep green cardstock and wood-inspired background paper.
The train is assembled in rich forest green with snowy white accents, rolling along on swirl-decorated wheels that add a playful, candy-like touch.

Card 2 – Soft Winter Neutrals (“Christmas Dreams”)
The second design takes on a dreamy, frosty palette.
Here I used creamy whites, taupes, and soft grays — perfect for creating a snowy, serene winter scene.

I recorded a short, step-by-step video of myself making the first card.
In it, you’ll see:
- How I layer the die-cut train pieces
- How the entire scene comes together on the background
It’s a simple and relaxing project, perfect for holiday crafting sessions.
This Spellbinders & Stamperia train die set is an absolute joy to work with — full of personality and perfect for creating Christmas cards that feel both nostalgic and playful. Whether you go for rustic colours or snowy neutrals, the little train looks adorable in every style.
Let me know which of the two cards is your favorite! And if you try creating your own version, I’d love to see it!
Happy crafting!
