Supplies I Used
For the roses in this project, I used the Stamperia Camelia’s Bloom cutting die set with a 5-petal flower shape. However, you don’t need the exact same dies — similar 5-petal flower die will work beautifully for this technique.
For the leaves, I used leaf dies from Altenew, which add lovely detail and texture to the finished arrangement.
Materials:
- 5-petal flower cutting dies (I used Stamperia)
- Leaf dies (I used Altenew)
- Watercolour paper 190gsm
- Shaping tools or a stylus / toothpick
- Glue – I prefer hot glue
- Ink for light shading (optional)

Why I Love This Flower Technique
This method creates roses that are:
✨ Dimensional but lightweight
✨ Easy to customize with different papers and inks
✨ Perfect for many crafting styles — shabby chic, vintage, romantic, or elegant
You can make them in any color combination to match your projects.

Crafting Tip
For the most realistic result, try lightly inking the petal edges and gently curling the petals before assembling the layers. This adds depth and makes the flower look fuller.

How Would You Use These Roses?
These flowers look beautiful on:
- Handmade cards
- Scrapbook layouts
- Mini albums
- Gift boxes
- Home décor pieces

Happy crafting! ✂️🌸
