Christmas Stocking & Handmade Paper Flowers | Cardmaking Tutorial

I love creating Christmas cards with lots of layers, beautiful details and handmade embellishments. For today’s project, I wanted to create a festive card featuring a Christmas stocking, decorated with gorgeous poinsettias, foliage, and a touch of winter sparkle.

I used products from Elizabeth Craft Designs to bring this design together, combining dies from their new release with a beautiful background pattern created using one of their stamps.

Of course, I couldn’t resist adding some handmade flowers!

I used Elizabeth Craft Designs Festive Floral and Foliage to create beautiful layered poinsettias. The rich red petals make such a lovely contrast against the soft white background, while the little white details in the centres add a delicate finishing touch.

To give the card a little winter magic, I added some faux snow and plenty of glitter 🙂

I hope this project inspires you to get creative with your Christmas dies and stamps, experiment with layering, and maybe add some handmade flowers to your festive cards.
