Autumn, books & cosy making. Step-by-step video
There’s something about autumn that makes reading feel extra cosy: a mug at your side, the hush of falling leaves, and a stack of well-loved spines begging to be opened. I tried to bottle that feeling into my latest card — warm wood tones, soft ochres, and little clusters of blooms and leaves — and I’d love for you to see how it came together. Want the full, step-by-step process? Watch me create this card from start to finish!
For this design I used the Stamperia Whispering Woods paper collection for all the soft, textured backgrounds and woodgrain accents, and the adorable books cutting dies from Spellbinders — Classic Tales to build the stacked book focal. I finished the scene with layered paper flowers, delicate die-cut foliage, thread bow for softness, and addeded a sentiment that reads Thinking of you.
