Creating 4 Beautiful Cards with One Digital Kit – Patina Blue
Hi everyone!
I’m excited to share a new tutorial where I show how to create four unique handmade cards using just one digital kit – and trust me, this one is a beauty.
The kit I used is called “Patina Blue”, designed by my talented friend Anna Room of Crafts and available in her Etsy store. It includes 8 gorgeous pages filled with backgrounds and coordinating elements, all in soft, vintage-inspired blue tones with delicate florals, textures, and ephemera.

One Kit, Endless Possibilities
What I love most about this project is how versatile a single kit can be. With just these 8 pages, I was able to create:
- A layered “thank you” card
- A romantic floral card with a vintage clock
- A soft and elegant butterfly-themed design
- A round card for something a little different

Each card has its own personality, even though they all come from the same collection.
Simple Supplies, Beautiful Results
For this project, I kept things intentionally simple.
I didn’t use any additional craft products—just the printed kit and:
- Double-sided foam pads (for dimension)
That’s it!

By adding layers and dimension with foam pads, the elements really come to life without needing extra embellishments. It’s a great reminder that you don’t need a huge stash to create something special.
Playing with Shapes and Sizes
Another fun part of this tutorial is experimenting with different card sizes and shapes. Instead of sticking to one standard format, I created a mix—including a circular card—which adds interest and makes the set feel more dynamic.
If you’ve never tried varying your card bases before, I highly recommend it—it can completely change the feel of your design.

Why I Love the “Patina Blue” Kit
This kit is perfect if you enjoy:
- Soft, vintage color palettes
- Layering and dimensional designs
- Floral and shabby-chic styles
Everything coordinates beautifully, making it easy to mix and match elements without overthinking.

I hope this tutorial inspires you to get more out of your digital kits and try creating multiple projects from a single collection. It’s such a fun and satisfying challenge!

Let me know which card is your favorite 💙
Happy crafting!
