Paper Shadow Box Frame – Love Layers | free PDF | Video Tutorial
This handmade paper shadowbox was created with Valentine’s Day in mind, but honestly? It’s perfect for any occasion when you want to share a little love – anniversaries, birthdays, or just because 💕

To make this project easy and fun to recreate, I’ve prepared:
- A detailed PDF instruction with clear steps
- A step-by-step reel & Video tutorial so you can follow along visually
Whether you’re new to shadowboxes or already obsessed with paper layers, this project is very beginner-friendly while still leaving room for your own creative twists.
Tools & dies
For this shadowbox, I used various Sizzix dies, mixing shapes, frames, and decorative elements to build depth and interest.
✨ Bonus: many of these dies are currently on sale, which makes this the perfect time to add them to your stash!

I used handmade fabric flowers on this project (most of the flowers I ever use re my own) and here is a short video on how to make them: if you would like to lern more, check my channel, I have many flower making videos 🙂
Why I love this project
- Beautiful layered dimension in a small format
- Great way to use patterned papers and scraps
- Can be customised with colours, sentiments, and themes
- Makes a thoughtful, handmade gift or keepsake décor
If you’ve been looking for a project that combines paper crafting, storytelling, and a touch of romance, this one is for you.

I can’t wait to see your versions – don’t forget to tag me if you recreate it! 💕
Happy crafting,
Emilia
