Quick & Adorable Vintage Postcard–Inspired Envelopes and Cards

If you love vintage paper goods as much as I do, this little project is going to steal your heart 💌
Today I’m sharing a quick and adorable postcard-inspired set — perfect for Valentine’s Day, journaling, scrapbooking, or tucking into a handmade gift.

The envelopes are created using the WE R Envelope Punch Board, and the postcards are cut from beautiful DCWV Postcards paper with that timeless, old-world charm.

Best part? This project is fast, beginner-friendly, and incredibly satisfying.

What You’ll Need

  • WE R Envelope Punch Board
  • DCWV Postcards paper (vintage-style designs)
  • Paper trimmer or scissors
  • Adhesive
  • Optional: ink for distressing edges

Vintage Envelopes Made Easy

The Envelope Punch Board makes this project almost effortless. With just a few punches and folds, you can create perfectly sized mini envelopes that fit these postcards beautifully.

I used patterned paper with tiny dots and soft florals to keep everything cohesive while still letting the postcards shine. Mixing patterns gives the set a vintage feel — like something found in an old stationery drawer.

Postcards with Old-World Charm

The DCWV Postcards paper already has gorgeous typography, postal markings, and handwritten details, so there’s very little you need to do. Simply cut them to size and enjoy all that nostalgic goodness.

Watch the Step-by-Step Reel 🎥

I’ve created a step-by-step Reel showing exactly how I made both the envelopes and postcards, from start to finish. If you’re a visual learner, this will make the process super clear and easy to follow.

I love how versatile this design is — you can easily swap papers to match any season or occasion.

If you give this project a try, I’d love to see it! Feel free to tag me so I can admire your beautiful creations 💛

Happy crafting,
Emilia
