Wood & Flowers | Any Occasion Card
I like to have some spare occasion cards in my stash, and if I need a last-minute card, I can use it! Sometimes I would change the sentiment to suit the occasion, but I do not have to make the card from scratch.
Today I’m creating a card that can be your 'just in case’, this card features some new products from Papertrey Ink, watch my tutorial and create with me:

With adorable ladybugs, soft florals, layered greenery, and textured woodgrain details, this project combines elegance with a playful touch. The delicate colours and dimensional elements make this card ideal for birthdays, thank you notes, friendship cards, or simply sending a thoughtful handmade greeting.

In the video, I’ll show you how to create the realistic woodgrain pieces that add warmth and texture, soft florals and bright red ladybugs for a whimsical feel to the composition.

One of the highlights of this card is the balance between softness and dimension. By layering the florals and embellishments with foam adhesive, I created depth and movement while still keeping the overall look light and elegant. The sentiment “May this day be as special as you are” makes the design versatile enough for many celebrations and occasions.

Be sure to watch the full tutorial to see all the techniques and details come together, and don’t forget to leave a comment sharing what occasion you would use this sweet ladybug card for!
Happy crafting! x
