Vintage Typewriter Layered Card

Today I’m sharing a new card created with the beautiful 49 and Market – Nostalgic Memories collection. From the very first moment I opened this collection, I completely fell in love with its vintage charm and those gorgeous, muted colours. They create such a warm, soft, and timeless atmosphere — perfect for layered, detailed compositions.

For this project, I wanted to fully embrace that nostalgic vibe. I started with one of the patterned papers as my base and built up the design by layering lots of paper elements from the collection. The ornate frame and the vintage typewriter became the focal points, instantly drawing the eye and setting the tone of the piece. The subtle script backgrounds and aged textures add depth without overwhelming the composition.

As always, I couldn’t resist incorporating my handmade fabric flowers. I love how their soft texture contrasts with the paper elements and adds a delicate, romantic touch. I arranged them around the focal point to create balance and dimension, tucking in leaves, die-cuts, and small embellishments to build a rich, cohesive cluster. A little bit of thread and layered details help give the card that extra handcrafted feel.
