DIY Lightbulb Tags with My SVG Template

I’m coming with a brand new video where I walk you through how to create these fun and unique lightbulb-shaped tags using one of my own SVG cutting templates (available in my Etsy shop!). These tags are such a versatile project—you can make them in any color palette or theme, and they’re perfect for gifts, journals, mixed media projects, or even as ornaments.

For today’s project, I chose to decorate my lightbulbs using the Stamperia Voyages Fantastiques collection, which is filled with gorgeous steampunk-inspired designs, gears, clocks, and vintage textures. I just love how beautifully it pairs with the quirky lightbulb shape! But truly, the possibilities are endless—imagine these in soft florals, bright birthday colors, Christmas themes, or even minimalist neutrals.

Watch my step by step video, where I’ll show you how I assembled and layered the tags, adding texture and dimension with gears, clocks, and hot air balloon accents. I also share a few tips for getting that perfectly layered, mixed-media look:

Why You’ll Love This Project:

  • Unique Design: The lightbulb shape is eye-catching and fun.
  • Customizable: Use any paper collection or color scheme to suit your project.
  • SVG Template: The cutting file makes it super easy to get perfect shapes every time.
  • Creative Freedom: Add gears, flowers, lace, clocks, or any embellishments you love.

These tags are a wonderful way to use up scraps, experiment with embellishments, or make something truly personal and creative.

I’d love to see your versions of these tags! If you try the project, be sure to tag me so I can share your creations.

Happy crafting !
