Easter Bunny Tag | Lots of Texture & Spring Joy

This time, I created a pastel-colored tag bursting with texture, soft spring tones, and the sweetest little details. It was such a joyful piece to make, and I truly let myself play and experiment throughout the whole process.

For the background, I reached for my inks and sprays to build up soft, blended layers of pastel colour. I worked in gentle shades of pink, yellow, and green, letting them overlap and softly fade into one another. The subtle splatters added extra movement and a slightly whimsical feel — because what’s spring without a little playful mess?

Texture was very important for this tag. I layered die cuts created with my Sizzix cutting dies to build dimension and depth. I love how the layered greenery frames the focal point and adds a fresh, natural vibe.

And can we talk about these adorable characters? The whimsical bunny and tiny chick steal the show! They bring so much personality and charm to the piece, making the whole tag feel lighthearted and full of Easter magic. Their soft colours blend beautifully with the pastel background while still standing out thanks to the layered composition.

I also recorded a full video tutorial where you can see exactly how I built up the layers, blended the inks, and assembled all the elements step by step. If you’d like to see the techniques in action and get inspired to create your own pastel Easter tag, I’d love for you to watch it!
