Rustic Winter Magic — My New Cardmaking Project
As winter crafting begins to fill my studio with cosy creative energy, I’m excited to share my newest project: two rustic winter cards that capture the peaceful charm of the season. What makes these cards especially unique is that I didn’t use Christmas-themed papers, the background is built from neutral, everyday papers from my newest collection Quiet Days for Stamperia transformed into winter magic.

A Rustic Winter Mood
Both cards feature a soft, earthy palette with warm browns, aged neutrals, and subtle winter greens. I wanted them to have a natural, woodland feel — something nostalgic, calm, and reminiscent of quiet snowy mornings.

Handmade Flowers for a Unique Touch
All of the florals you see on these cards were created entirely by hand. A few days ago, I published a full video tutorial showing exactly how I make these flowers from scratch, including shaping, coloring, and assembling them. They add such a beautiful snowy softness to both compositions, and because they’re handmade, each one feels truly special.

I also recorded a short step-by-step video for one card, where you can see how I built the layers and balanced the rustic details. It’s perfect if you enjoy quick inspiration or want to recreate something similar.
Thank you for stopping by and exploring my newest winter makes! I hope these cards inspire you to look at your non-seasonal paper stash in a new way — Christmas creativity can bloom from the simplest materials.
If you create something inspired by my project or follow the flower tutorial, feel free to share it with me. I always love seeing your beautiful work!
